Lunaby helps caregivers record and understand a child's sleep. This Privacy Policy explains what information Lunaby processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you. Questions can be sent to support@getlunaby.com.

Information we process

We process information you provide when using Lunaby, including your email address, account and authentication information, language and time-zone settings, household and caregiver details, child profiles, dates of birth or expected birth dates, avatars, sleep events, sleep sessions, reminders, consent records, and support messages.

We also process limited technical and operational information needed to provide and secure the service, such as device and app details, request logs, security events, and audit records. Passwords are stored only as protected password hashes. Verification and password-reset codes are time-limited.

Child profile and sleep information must be supplied by a parent, guardian, or other authorized caregiver. Lunaby is not intended for children to use independently.

How we use information

We use information to create and protect accounts, provide household and sleep-tracking features, calculate and display sleep schedules, send requested verification, password-reset, and service messages, answer support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.

Lunaby does not sell personal information and does not use child information for behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We may use vetted service providers for hosting, storage, monitoring, security, and email delivery, including an email delivery provider such as Brevo. They may process information only to perform services for Lunaby and under appropriate contractual and security obligations.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and sleep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited security, audit, backup, or transaction records for a reasonable period where required for safety, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. You may request account or data deletion by contacting support@getlunaby.com. Some backup copies may remain until routine backup expiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity and authority over a child's information before completing a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password, keep verification codes private, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Health notice

Lunaby is a sleep-tracking and planning tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Contact a qualified healthcare professional about health or safety concerns.

Changes

We may update this Policy as Lunaby changes. The current version and effective date will be shown in the service. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, or email where appropriate.
